“Runcaja” Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

From the Alberto Burzi cellars, a robust, flavoursome Nebbiolo. One of the most traditional red wines from the Langhe region of Piedmont.

Light ruby red. The nose has powerful aromas of flowers and berries, in particular rose, violet, black cherry, red currant, wild strawberry and raspberry. Lighter notes of undergrowth such as grass, moss, hay and leaves. On the palate, there’s a slight salinity to give rigidity to the structure, and the right sweetness to give substance. The fruit flavours return to finish at a crescendo.

Among the Nebbiolos, Burzi stands out for the freshness and crispness of the fruit expressed on the nose, followed by good drinkability.
