Handmade Chocolate Cantucci Biscuit
A very simple biscuit, made by hand using the good ingredients cultivated in the Bittarelli farms and following with a generation’s old recipe, in a non-traditional but widely appreciated variation using chocolate chips instead of almonds.
These biscuits are a very traditional recipe of Tuscany and central Italy dating back to the 1400′. Traditionally, they were cooked twice to make them last longer, they are now made the same way to preserve their iconic crunchy texture and flavours.
